Journalist Janet Mtali has been appointed as the new National Director for Trans World Radio (TWR).

TWR Board Chairperson Tadala Chinkwezule has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.

Chinkwezule said the board is confident that TWR Malawi will continue to thrive and achieve new heights of success because of Mtali’s dynamic leadership and strategic vision.

“We are confident her impressive background in broadcast and media, combined with her strong leadership skills, makes Ms. Mtali a perfect fit for our organization,” Chinkwezule said.

Mtali has over 10 years of expertise in content production, communication for development, and media management.

She takes over from Victor Kaonga, who he has now taken up a role as Regional Director for TWR Southern Africa.
