Are you a passionate, creative, and dynamic storyteller with a voice that captures attention? TWR Malawi is inviting applications for the position of Producer/Presenter to join our team on a 1-year contract (with possible extension).
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and produce engaging radio content aligned with the station’s mission and values, including magazine programs, news, and current affairs programs.
Host live and pre-recorded programs.
Collaborate with the programming team to design and deliver informative and engaging programs.
Ensure timely delivery of program content and support production for other departments as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Journalism, Communication, Media Studies, or related field.
At least 2 years of radio production or broadcasting experience.
Strong creative and communication skills in English and at least one local language (Chichewa, Chitumbuka, or Chiyao).
Knowledge of project-based programming (e.g., health, agriculture, education) will be an added advantage.
Committed Christian with a passion for using media for community transformation.

Instructions for Demo Submission:
Duration
4 minutes per language (aim to maintain the listener’s interest while providing enough content to showcase your abilities)
Language– English and Chichewa
Introduction: Start your demo with a brief introduction. Clearly stating your name, background, and expressing your enthusiasm and suitability for the position (in English).
Content– Give a radio talk on a topic of your choice for a morning program (separately in English and Chichewa).
In this demo, we would like you to:
Showcase your voice
Show that you can be relatable and connect with the target audience.
Demonstrate your understanding of the Christian faith and how you can integrate Christian values into your presentation.
Demonstrate your scripting and storytelling skills.
Be authentic and let your personality shine.
