The International Media Award, which TWR Malawi received in Dallas, Texas, USA, has now arrived safely in Lilongwe.

TWR Malawi was honored with this prestigious award by the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) on 25 February 2025, during their annual convention, which brought together over 5,000 Christian media representatives from around the world. Victor Kaonga, TWR International Director for East and Southern Africa, accepted the award on behalf of TWR Malawi and officially delivered it to us on 6 March 2025.

According to NRB, this award recognizes TWR Malawi’s pioneering work in Christian broadcasting in Malawi, demonstrating integrity, faithfulness to the cause of Christ, and effectiveness in using electronic media to impact culture with the Gospel.

This recognition is a significant milestone, as TWR Malawi is the first TWR partner in Africa to receive this prestigious award. It follows last year’s award, which was presented to RTM (Radio Trans Mundial) Brazil in 2024.
